He was painted using a combination of pastels, airbrushing, and hand detailing. He was first painted a dapple black - NOT flat black by any means! He has nice soft dappling on his barrel and haunches. I was going to leave him black, but felt like adding some splash of color to him, so he suddenly became a belly spot overo with a big bald face and high white socks. He was finished off with all the details such as ermon spots on his coronet bands, kissy spot on his nose, pastelled hooves with appropriate striping of course, 6 color eyes, nostril pinking, muzzle shading, and that "hairy" overo belly pattern. He's sealed in matte finish and his hooves, eyes, and nostrils are all glossed. I signed him on the bottom of his tail so the signature won't show when you display him.
