This is just a brief virtual tour of our farm. We purchased 10 acres, no house on the property, a few outbuildings, and a gorgeous old barn with a hayloft that was built around 1920. We purchased this sad looking parcel of land in 1985.

The work began and soon we had built our classic brick ranch home, manicured the yard, repainted the outbuildings, put on new roofs, and it was suddenly home. We also purchased the surrounding land to our farm - about 150 more acres (currently in crops).

Unfortunately, the beautiful barn burnt down in 1999. We always dreamed of living in Kentucky, so we built a new horse barn - "Kentucky Style". Our barn has a beautiful knotty pine tack room with lots of large and modern windows. There are open dormers in the barn, letting in lots of light, and 10 modern stalls - extra large of course. :-)

Each year we add a little to the place, making it more and more our dream horse facility. I love to take pictures, so enjoy the tour!

Here is a small virtual tour of the outside of our barn. Many mistake it for the house when they see pictures of it - but trust me, the horses live in there (although there are times I wonder if we don't!).

Not only to I love to take "scenery" pictures, I also love to take pictures of our horses - they aren't just horses - they are part of the family.
