About Soy B Lite Candles
We have been avid burners of candles for years - loving the fragrances, although never being quite happy with any that we had purchased. In the spring of 2003, I moved pictures off my walls only to be horrified to see a perfect outline of the picture on the wall. It looked as if a smoker lived in my home and soot had covered everything. It wasn't hard to determine where the soot came from - the candles.

Paraffin candles will commonly leave soot and residue on your furniture, walls, and in the air. Many times manufactured candles have zinc and other carcigens in their wicks as well (more harmful inhalants). Because we loved candles, we had to find a safer alternative and this is when we discovered the wonders of soy candles and cotton core wicks.

Soy burns not only cleaner - evaporating with the heat the flame, leaving behind clean, clear glass of the container, but the scent throws are incredible! Our soy candles are made from 100% soy beans and are hand poured in Eastern Iowa. We use cotton wicks, this way they burn clean as well.
